みなさんのお祈りをありがとうございます。

９月６日から一週間、今年３回目の連鎖断食のときを持ちました。昨年からこの断食は私が主催する「とりなしの祈りのネットワーク」(会員数６０人ほど)のメンバーとあわせて行っています。毎回感じることですが、この断食を通じて教会のメンバーの一人一人が霊的に成長していることを感じます。

９月にスーパーキッズクラブが再開しましたが、子供の参加者の数は３０名近くありスタッフや親を含めると５０人以上になります。部屋はほぼ満杯です。

９月の大きな出来事は私達夫婦はラブ・レボリューションという超教派のユースのグループに招かれて東京でミニストリーしたことです。

恋愛、結婚というテーマでしたが、好弘は札幌でインフォユースミニストリーを通じて若者の性の問題に取り組んでいることと、教会でのユースセミナー、夫婦セミナーを通じてSEXというテーマに大きな必要があることを知っていたのでそれを強調した内容となりました。

多くのクリスチャンが無知によって性を汚れたものと考えており。また、禁欲教育によって若者を性の危険から守ろうとするのは良いのですがその祝福についてはほとんど教えていないのが現状です。

土曜日の午後に東京に到着してすぐに２つのセッションを語りました。その夜２００ｋｍ離れた福島県の教会に向かい翌々日東京に戻りその翌日はまた東京の山奥で一泊二日のユースキャンプを持ちました。ユースキャンプは合計７つのセッションを担当しました。

他では絶対に聞けないテーマの内容に若者をはじめ既婚者達は聞き入っており、本当に有意義なときでした。主催者はこの集会、キャンプを全国展開させていくというビジョンを持っています。

In our church, we have had a week of prayer and fasting starting on September 6th.

This prayer and fasting week has been done together with 'The intercessory prayer network' which I am leading, since last year. There are about 60 members in this prayer network. I believe that each member of the church has been growing spiritually through this prayer and fasting.

In September, Super Kids' Club has resumed. Now there are about 30 children participating in this club. The total participants including the moms and the staff are about 50 people every week. We have English teaching, games, songs, craft, and the Bible story, praise song. Those who attend the Super Kids' Club are very open and some are getting saved.

I and my wife were invited by a non-denominational youth group called Love Revolution to minister in Tokyo. We shared on marriage, and dating. I, Yoshihiro, have been ministering to the youth in Sapporo with the Info-Youth ministry, dealing with the sexual issues of the youth. Also through the youth seminar and the marriage seminar at our church, we have been very aware of the need in this theme. So the messages and the teachings were focusing on this theme.

Many Christians consider sex filthy and dirty because of the ignorance. It is important to protect the youth from the danger of the sexual sins. But there is a lack of teaching on the blessing side of it from the Bible.

We shared for 2 sessions in Tokyo at the Love Revolution event. After that, we went to a church in Fukushima (which is about 200 km from Tokyo) to minister there. On Monday, we came back to Tokyo and ministered in the mountain side of Tokyo for an overnight youth camp. We shared for 7 sessions.

The singles as wells as the married people paid close attention to the talk and messages and it was a very significant time. Those who organized this even and camp have a vision to extend this ministry all over Japan.

One more thing I should add is that the editor of a big publishing company participated in this event, because he was interested in the book I am writing on the teaching for the sex for a marriage.

He is not a believer and has never been to any Christian gathering. But he was so open to the message and shows much interest in the publishing of the book I have written, although the publishing company itself is financial difficulty and it seems that there is still much need of prayer.

Prayer requests:

１） For those who are looking for jobs. A man named T.K. has been a blessing now that he and his family are saved. But he is going to lose his job at the end of September. He needs to find a job.

Also a staff of our church, K.I., has been out of work more than a year.

２） For the publishing of the book I mentioned. We hope that this book may be used by God for the restoration of many marriages and also to teach the unmarried people of keeping purity.

3) for more staff for the Super Kids' Club. We need more people to support and minister to the moms and kids.
