We can do many good things but cannot reach God by our own effort.
only through Jesus we can have a relationship with God because he is the mediator between the Lord and us, what we need to do for salvation is to believe that Christ died for our sins and resurrected.

Little children are selfish. Nobody teaches them but they lie and act mean. When we see that, we can see that mankind is born with sinful nature. Mankind is separated from God because of their sins and doomed to be judged for eternity. (Isaiah 59:1-2) Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God. (Hebrew9:27) And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
God does not send man to hell. The sins of mankind separate them from God and destroys them.

(Romans 6:23) the wages(reward) of sin is death
When you work, you receive wages according to your work. The wage means the reward to your work. Where there is no work, there is no reward. The death as a reward is a consequence of the act of sins.

All people die, because all have sinned.
(Romans 3:10-12) "There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one."

The death as a consequence of sin is like being put into prison because of debts.[Matthew18:23-24] Therefore, until you pay all the price of sins, you don’t get saved. However, the price is too high for anyone to pay back.

‘ the solution of God : the CROSS
Men with sin cannot even save themselves with their own death. However if a sinless man gives his life to pay for the sins, that death has the power to save the whole . There was no man without sin, though. Therefore, God did what man a do.
The son of God, who is God , Jesus became a man and came to the earth and died on the cross so that those who believe in Him may get saved.

‘@What we need to do to be saved:

(Romans10:9-10) that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

@What is salvation?
1) Salvation is the grace of God and a free gift from God.
Grace means : unmerited gift regardless of works( on the contrary, reward is given according to the works)
(Ephesians 2:8-9) For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

In many religions, there is need of efforts and sacrifice in order to achieve salvation. However, our salvation through the sacrifice of Christ is complete, so there is no need to add anything else for salvation.

2) by the mercy of God you are free from the wages of sin.
Those who sin are judged and doomed to hell. However, by the faith in Christ, you can be free from the judgment you deserved, which is because of God’s mercy.
*Mercy means: You do not have to receive the penalty or bad consequence you deserve.
* God is the One who gives us salvation. God doesn't send people to hell. but sins of people destroy them.

3) Salvation in this world
Those who believe in Jesus have their sins removed, which separated them from God. Therefore, a relationship with God is established, which enables man to communicate directly with God. You may have felt alone in the past like in the middle of the sea or in the middle of the desert, but now we are not alone through the relationship with God and we can live a better life with Him.

4). Salvation of our spirit
we are composed by three parts, body, spirit and soul, and the spirit is the main part of ourselves, when we believe in Jesus automatically our spirit is born again. We have communication with God from our spirit, so when we are saved we can have a relationship with God.

God’s spirit lives in us, He can only live in a holy place, a place without sin, so when our sins are forgiven and we have reconciled with God, The Holy Spirit dwells in us and we can become one with God. The Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our salvation [Ephesians1:13] and also resurrected Christ from dead.[Romans8:11]

(Mathew 11:28-29) Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
There is a type of peace we can receive from God automatically. But as in this scripture, you can be also given peace by learning from Christ and having your values transformed. For example, someone who does not have peace because he is always competing with others can receive peace by being transformed in his way of living.

The salvation of spirit happens instantly, but it takes some time to experience the salvation of soul. In many cases, we need to have our bondages removed one by one. The ways to be free from bondages are@covered in the following sessions.

6) The salvation of our body.
The completely salvation of our body will occur until the end of times, because when we born we are under the curse of sin, so our body tends to perish, but we can receive healing from God on this earth, and we receive it in advance as a sign of the things that God has prepared for us, as their children.

7) Eternal Salvation.
We live on the earth for a little while but after that we spend the eternity in another place, which is heaven and hell, in which of the places we spend the eternity depends on the decision we make while we live.

The souls of mankind are eternal existence. They do not disappear after dying and leaving the physical bodies. They live in either heaven or hell for eternity .We cannot make a decision after death. We need to make a choice while we are alive on the earth. Those who believe in Jesus go directly to God who is in heaven after dying and leaving the body, which means that we live with God for eternity in heaven.

8) Salvation is to be made children of God
God is our true father. Not everyone has good fathers on the earth. But if you know God is our true Father, our hearts will be healed, which can totally change our lives and we can restore what we have lost before.
